Experience at the Hull House
In the Hull house, I was inspired by the brief story of the life experience of Hull house girl Hilda Satt Polacheck who came a stranger, had a sewing machine as a tailor but in a long run, she made a history which I learned from Hull house. Her book was displayed with the old type of sewing machine that I didn't expect to see in America. This made me to reflect back to my past days when I had interest of learning to use a sewing machine where by a friend discouraged me, but from the knowledge I got from Hull house I came to a conclusion that, it's not only white collar jobs that people should look for, but any one can start from any type of work and slowly can develop as well become great person and make history in the whole world just like Hilda Satt Polacheck, who was earning by her sewing machine and ended up becoming a great person. Therefore I would use this example to advise people that is better to be a job creator than a job seeker, just start with what your ability and knowledge allows you to do as you look for better opportunities or jobs, you are trying to look for than only looking for office work for years, which is not easy to get. Therefore all the educated people have to be creative by use of their knowledge to create jobs than seeking for jobs.

Relationship of Girls Education in Africa
During the Midwest conference, I was touched by the story of Girl child Education in Mali. Many girls have problem going to school. Girls start doing work at age of 6 - 8 as house girls or being maid at early age to support their family members and their education as well, doing a lot of domestic work at their homes. As time goes on, many Girl find their way to the town areas to look for more work to do in order to get more money, so that, they can buy them selves things like clothes and shoes. This exposed many girls in to early relationship with men and in order for them to win a man's heart or look beautiful they have to dress like secretaries put on short clothes, use cosmetics to belch their skins, and design their hair every time like prostitudes to get attracted, yet decent dressing is when girls put on long clothes. This made me to come to a conclusion that, every thing happening in girl child education are similar in Africa and girls problems real need to be solved.

In developing history curriculum in South Sudan, the approach is, History curriculum developers should first of all look properly in to the community of South Sudan. Ask questions like, What is happening?, What was the previous history of South Sudan?, What are the problems in the country?, and How can the problems be solved through Education, most especially using History as a subject at school to solve these problems. This is because History as a subject, is to teach the origin of the indigenous of South Sudan and the social way of living. According to me, the following should be included in developing South Sudan History subject curriculum. History curriculum should be critically selected by History specialist in curriculum development, the subject should create peace, talk about the origin of the South Sudanese people and culture to preserve the diverse cultures of South Sudan and respect for each culture in it's unique way. The subject should focus on creation of good leadership skills, for example a good leader should be competent, confident and knowledgable, by teaching history of great leaders in South Sudan and the world at large. History curriculum should create peace by using good language which would create unity. For example "we the South Sudanese than identifying according to particular ethnic group. History teachers must have knowledge on community psychology and Educational psychology. Finally teaching methods like, discussion, brainstorming, guided discovery and story telling should be used, since they are learner centered teaching methods which would help learners to develop critical way of thinking.

First time in the United States of America
First time in the United States of America.
I used to think America is so different in that, I can't compare to any thing. But when I reached America to me every thing was normal, the world is all the same, I could see the some sky, sun, moon, grass, flowers therefore the world is the some and the only difference is that America is highly developed.
The only thing that surprised me was the summer heat which is sometimes like Juba heat. I easily adjusted to the environment since I have been in different Town areas in Africa and am really happy for this moment in Indiana University pursing my Masters Degree in Secondary Education and I am always ready to reach to the highest level of Education. Long live the Government of South Sudan, long live the Government of United States of America. The similarity with Dr. Julia's experience is both are our first time in the United States of America with aim of getting the best Education and the difference is she faced a lot of challenges being a mother, the social life was so different from that of Juba for example how people dress, socialize, snow season and due to too much freedom, she was worried on the behavior her children would adopt.
